The worst kept secret after Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I hope we get the superior European exterior shell and controller. We will I'm sure.

Really good selection. I wonder if they'll do any work to Starfox 2.

€80 is a bit steep for games I nearly all own either on the SNES or on VC. Was hoping for more games too. It's a good selection alright. Let's see if they keep the same list of games for both Europe and the US.

I see it's been confirmed. Missed out on the fun last year but I never had a NES when it first came out anyway. I did however have a SNES so will be all over this for Christmas.

Is Nintendo.co.uk definitely the best to pre-order from? I remember last year loads of threads on HotUKDeals about Gameseek/Amazon etc but I think lots of people were let down.

Nintendo or someone reliable. Gamestop and Symths didn't fullfill all their pre orders last time on day of release as far as I recall, and zavvi didn't get any in despite taking pre orders.

Zavvi were the biggest @***0*€;* with the NES Classic Mini. You may not get a delivery from Nintendo UK to Ireland.

2 controllers also with the European version.

Will also be compatible with Wii controllers it seems i.e Classic Controller, Classic Controller pro etc

Looks like it's using the original form connection for the controllers too... Which means my 8BITDO Retro Receiver will work in it nicely! (Assuming it's not a smaller connection...)

I'm much more pleased with those games than the NES ones. Mainly cos I think SNES games hold up wayyyy better than NES games.

Not sure it is the original form. Wii controllers are compatible with the US version so it's either a false front or the controllers connect somewhere else.

I think the front pulls out, like a tray. Those SNES controller ports on the front aren't real. There's no holes for the connector pins.

    European version is 60hz.

Have around 80 snes games on my retropie which is just so handy for playing fan translated stuff too. If this is plentiful I may buy it tho.
Glad they included most of the well known classics like Super Metroid, Link to the Past, F-Zero & Earthbound.
Are Europe stuck with the purple button controllers?

    Nope.

Too bad Chrono Trigger isn't included since never really played more than the beginning of that.

Wasn't their excuse for NES mini stock that they underestimated how popular it would be? What will their excuse be this time?

Great games on the list, and will pick this one up. Will make sure to preorder right away, once I can.

Nintendo Stote don't deliver to Ireland. Amazon or local Gamestop probably best places to order
