Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Retroshirtcity have redone the 92 blue shirt a few times if people fancy getting it at some stage. Their stock sells fast on mediums tho.

Like the Goalkeepers one. Why aren't they released in short sleeves?

Look at Big Ron's feet, white leather shoes and no socks.

    What an absolute pimp.

Had Cole 9 on back of mine. Got some mocking out and about for first bit, but by **** I wore it with pride once we won league in 1999

Had a dream (nightmare ) today that Utd signed Joe Hart and John Terry.

    John Gidman was also playing.

Managed to pick up the retro one adidas was doing with Sharp on it. It's my Fav at the moment. The older jerseys were generally better or is it Nostalgia that makes em better

Arsenal doing what arsenal do best? I'd love United to win there next two games just to bring it to last game of season for a bit of interest in it.

6th is probably an appropriate end to our season.

Spare a thought for those United supporters who have Alexis Sanchez in their Fantasy Premier League teams.

Apparently Ronaldo has lost his pace and is on a decline? I've seen him pelt past a few players in this game like he hasn't lost a bit. It's a shame we lost him to Real Madrid so early but thankful we had him at one stage too.

Well if De Gea really has to go then Navas on tonights form really wouldn't be a bad replacement.

Makes no sense for them to buy de gea when navas is a quality keeper

Makes perfect sense in Mardrid land

Navas had just had a monster season and had the full support of the fanbase and was told to pack his bags for Manchester not too long ago.

I was on record at the time of being ok with it if we were getting him in return, would probably still be the same though he has not had as good a season :)

Obviously the first choice is to keep De Gea.

Reading that the max punishment to United or Juventus over the Pogba deal would be £11,750.

Sorry lads, no spending spree this year :pac:

Oblak is a very good goalkeeper a double deal with him and Antoine would be unreal summer if the worst happens with De gea

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,217 ✭✭✭✭StringerBell

Not sure how United could be implicated in any wrongdoing if it were in fact deemed to be wrong somewhere along the way (despite FIFA having the documentation, and Juve making a public statement months ago!) then surely it lies with Juve/the agent, more the agent in fact for double jobbing as stakeholder/beneficiary and middleman/broker.

The talk about Pogba a fee etc certainly taking the spot light off our piss poor league form on the run in, terrible performances.

No,the fact we are two games away from winning the Europa League is doing that.

Massive game today!!! Season defining you could say. I'm sure Jose will get the job done but the chances of us fcuking it up is real. The scenes if we don't get through......

  • Huge pressure on tonight. Players need to perform as does Jose.
    Nerves...

    Appropriate match thread required...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,777 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Celta didn't look great at all the last night. It's hard to see them either scoring twice or holding out for the full 90.

The away goal was massive the last day. Bad and all as we are you'd have to expect us to make the final.

    Fingers crossed!

Utd will win tonight of that I am sure (pains me to say it as a Pool fan),
Seems certain that Ajax will get through, they do look a dangerous prospect, much better than I though a few months back

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,779 ✭✭✭✭jayo26

After the arsenal game I have thought really long and hard about it and taking the result and performance into account I think it's only right to step aside and allow some of the youth to flourish..

It's been great and have had some ups and downs the past six months but most were just middling results not wins or losses but In light of the recent loss and the reaction it has caused in the press and in this thread in particular I have decided to step down from match thread duties.

And I think ye will 100 percent get 4th spot no doubt about it whatsoever I'd put my hat on it.

Celta will probably go hung ho from the start to try and get a goal and that will play into Our hands as Jose will probably play Lingard, Martial and Rashford up top.

    I'd go with

    Martial-Rashford-Lingard
    -Pogba-Fellaini-
    -Herrera-
    Darmian-blind-Bailly-Val
    -Romero-

Liverpool and City have top 4 wrapped up, Arsenal wont win 3 remaining games.
