It's ironic everybody going mad for Interlude...it's SOTD for me. Sprayed it a few times this morning and stillll going strong. It's an immense scent...it really really is. I got this split from Pat when he offered Interlude before. Am looking forward to Memoir and Jubi coming my way from this perfume house.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,510 ✭✭✭SK1979

It's in the mail I sent you Pat but might as well put it on here that I'm interested in interlude also if you can source another split from somewhere.

    Cheers

    Parcel received Pat.
The waxy plastic does such a good job at sealing the atomiser, i couldn't even get a whiff from inside the lid. Unbelievably well packaged.

    Cheers.

That's Parafilm - as used in laboratories across the world! It's kinda like clingfilm on steroids! It's bloody expensive, but it works.

New Aventus orders above: all OK. Will be in touch in about a week.

Interlude: looks like a bit of demand for it! Issue with it is that I ordered one bottle (sold out) from my usual Amouage supplier along with some Memoir for the Autumn splits, intending to order more down the line as needed (bear in mind if I order too much, I'm stuck with it). Went to order more the other day and they seem to have dropped it for some reason. I can get more elsewhere no problem - but it will cost more. Will get back with figures tomorrow maybe. Might be room for two bottles if a couple of people plump for the 50ml portions with original bottle, box etc. (50ml of this is enough for anyone I think given it lasts so long - get a 100ml bottle and your children will fight over it when you're gone!).

Its possible I will take 50ml with box etc off you Pat, I just ordered a sample of Interlude to test.

Also put me down for the following

    Maison Francis Kurkdjian - Grand Soir - 25ml x 2
Serge Lutens - Fille en Aiguilles x 10ml

I don't know what he does for a living, but I'm fairly sure he's bloody good at it.

Fantastic service along with the much remarked packaging.

Thanks again Pat, till next time I decide the one thing I need is more lovely smells :)

Oud Wood is potent stuff. A few sprays yesterday morning around 8am and could still get a slight smell of it off my wrist at 10pm.

I will definitely buy a 50ml Interlude from you, Pat! It is amazingly potent stuff!

Currently available slots below. Working through all this lot will take me through to mid December so I won't be listing anything else in 2017 and will be removing splits from the list as they fill up - if you've your eye on anything, consider getting your name down as I don't expect to repeat splits of anything (except Amouage Interlude which I'm now arranging, and if there's a big demand for Aventus I might get some).

Slots and volumes currently remaining as of 18/11/17 - individual details in the OP.

In hand or already ordered, ready to ship late Nov
    Creed – Aventus: 9 50ml bottles left.
Creed - Viking: three 50ml slots left (free Aventus or Viking official spray sample with any Viking order).
Creed – Green Irish Tweed: one 50ml slot left. (this may be gone; awaiting confirmation).
Acqua di Parma - Colonia Oud: two 30ml slots left.
    Amouage – Interlude: details soon.
Serge Lutens – Fille en Aiguilles: 20ml left for 10ml volumes.
Dolce & Gabbana – The One for Men EdP: 75ml left for 25 / 50ml volumes.

    Open splits
Creed – Bois du Portugal: 6 slots left.
Creed - Original Santal: 9 slots left.
    Amouage – Bracken: 60ml left to allocate in 10 / 30ml volumes.
    Puredistance - M: 60ml left to allocate in 10 / 30ml volumes.
MFK - Grand Soir: 125ml left to allocate in 25 / 50ml volumes.

    Hi Pat

Can I have an Aventus 50ml please.

    Thanks

  • Registered Users Posts: 157 ✭✭supue

Enjoying my latest purchases Pat - that Viking is a great scent and nice to be restocked in Aventus once more.

I struggle to describe some of the fragrances sometimes, however Maritime definitely fits the Sel Marin :-)

With all the samples with you over the past few months, I need to get some time to try all the variations, I've built up quite a collection :-)

Dont know if this can be answered but ill ask anyways.

Is there a way of knowing the strengths of different fragrances ?
A few of the ones I bought seem very strong but is it purely done to each individual's smell/taste .

I think im only noticing this now as I have been trying out several new ones over the cpurse of the last 2 weeks.

A lot of it is down to an individual's own nose really but for individual fragrances it's probably best to look up reviews to get a general idea. As a general rule, most of what I supply tend to be on the stronger side - most are eaux de parfum, which tends to be the strongest concentration commonly available (aside from the more specialist parfums and extraits), but even the odd eau de toilette I split tends to have a good kick as well. And it varies hugely from scent to scent - eau de toilette scent A can be stronger than eau de parfum scent B.

    Amouage - Interlude

I'll be doing more of this at €29 / 10ml, or €73.50 / 30ml - let me know if interested. 50ml slots (with bottle etc) all sold out, with a wait list!
