Can I do a Factory Reset after phone is unlocked?

I just had my phone unlocked via software in one of the shops on Moore St in Dublin.

My new SIM works fine, but I'd just like to wipe the device to start from scratch.

Will the unlock be affected, or is it now unaffected?

Unlocking a phone should have nothing to do with the ROM of the phone tbh.

Yes, if done correctly with a NAC code.

These lads do it spuriously with a software override via ADB, so when the device images itself back it can undo the change. Depends on method used.

It wasn't done with an NAC code (the phone cannot be unlocked via a code). So it's software that will be affected if I factory reset ?

Possibly. Depends if they integrated it to the system partition or not.

OK will leave well alone and just manually delete what I don't need, thanks
