Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Yeh me too, i was actually shocked by it haha, id go as far as to say that he was the worst thing in the entire run of peaky blinders for me.

Peaky Blinders season 4 was the best season yet. Whenever next bug Hollywood movie about Americans/Italian gangsters is made they should cast Adrien Brody as the villain. He was genius in PB.

i thought it was the worst but still good, the mafia types were cartoonish and
thomas shelby had a plan for everything

I liked the character and purpose, but doing a really bad impersonation of the godfathers accent was not great.

    Goodfellas

Watched Heat a few weeks ago via the American library. De Niro was at his best during that period, Casino was another film that will go down as a classic.

Finished Umbrella Academy last night and it was excellent. Was a bit dubious initially but was very pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to where they go with season 2.

Watched "Isn't it Romantic" last night with Mrs Sleepy and was pleasantly surprised by it. Some genuine laugh out loud moments and a nice riff on the Rom Com genre.

Just watched it, granted a few Friday drinks involved, but I really enjoyed it.

Then again I'm a sucker for anything with Adam Devine. Rebel Wilson is gas too.

Just watched The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. An absolute gem. Lots of short stories, each one brilliant in their own right with a distinctly Coen brothers aesthetic and eye for the quirks of fate. Beautifully shot too, especially the Tom Waits story.

Happy Valley is class, also Charlie Murphy (Siobhan from Love Hate) is very good in it. Was talk of a 3rd series but looks unlikely. Would recommend.

Sarah Lancashire was on the radio with Graham Norton this morning and she said they were still planing on doing more Happy Valley. She said they were going back to Last Tango in Halifax first though so still some wait on S3.

I watched this last night with my wife and I wanted to pull my nails off, it would have caused me less pain than watching that.

But as always, each to their own.

I watched An Evening With Beverly Luff Lin over the last couple of nights and really enjoyed it. For context, it's a film from Jim Gosking, whose previous film was the gleefully demented Greasy Strangler. This time around there are a few excellent additions to the cast - Aubrey Plaza, Jemaine Clement, Emile Hirsch, Matt Berry - and a stronger, more rounded script. It most definitely won't be for everyone, but I had a great time with it.

Hi. can anyone tell difference between the 3 plans as far as programs go. It says on site only highest plan has unlimted movies and programs. seems a bit unfair. i only need it on one devise at a time as its just me. Im hospital bound with no tv. thanks

I thought the only real difference was that you got to watch programmes and movies in 4k if that option was available on the top plan along with having 4 users. You can watch everything in standard definition on the lowest plan. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

It definitely does not say on the site that only the highest plan has unlimited movies and programs.

At a glance it seems to be just down to simultaneous streaming devices and of course the higher quality. Reckon the basic package would do it for you.

This was brilliant. Trademark Coen brothers quirkiness but so well shot and acted with sparkling dialogue - and obviously extremely well researched.

    And Tom Waits is fantastic!
