    Anyone using this?
I got it via a win 10 update last week and its totally transformed my rigs performance.

For example for BF1 I previously had to run mostly low settings to sustain 100-144fps on my 144hz screen now with game mode on I'm running ultra and getting 85-144 fps 85 being to absolute minimum.
Turning off AA HBAO,post processing etc offers up a solid 120-144fps.
    I'm running @ 1080p by the way.

On my rig atleast I'm seeing a pretty substantial boost in performance.
I have read older rigs will see a big boost but new high performance rigs not so much, diminishing returns etc.

I'm running an i5 2500k @ 4.3ghz and GTX970, I was considering an upgrade or new rig later in the year but game mode has really transformed my ageing rig on every game ive tried so far.

    Anyone else having similar experience?

Is this in the creators update?

Held off installing it until there is some anti spying fixes out for it but good to know it helps with gaming :)

I saw a PC Gamer article on it and their impressions were that it adds an overhead on a clean system. Nice to see it actually does a good job on a "dirty" system :D

Fresh windows install every 6 months :)
    Old spec is the key.

Ahhh, that also makes some sense, though I can't seem to find any technical blog on "Game Mode" yet to explain what it is actually doing to achieve gains on older hardware. PCGamer were running the latest and greatest hardware (or close to it from memory) so I wasn't expecting anything amazing, especially from an early access release.

reading some articles about it it doesn't seem to add anything unless there are background apllications running
