Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Cracking semi final, and i'd expect Chelsea to go on and win it handily enough now. I thought Spurs were better for large parts of the game, but Chelsea were more clinical. Amazing strike for the 4th goal. Being able to bring on Hazard and Costa at 60 minutes shows how much depth they have.

Disgusted, but back to the PL to see if we can catch you lot now.

Spurs were better from the Kane goal to the Hazard goal.

Three defensive mistakes is just too many to make if you want to win these games.

Tough though aside from those mistakes spurs well on top.

4-2 is harsh on spurs , they are a very good side tbf.

Cracking game, fair play to Spurs they played really well. 4-2 is a bit harsh on them but we deserved to win it.

Danny Murphy is bloody hard to listen to.

Nah the Spurs fans don't have the same sense of entitlement

Pretty poor from the Spurs fans leaving in droves. They were excellent and deserve to have that acknowledged by their fans rather than a half empty stadium.

Great to get that. Hazard the difference.

    Bye Spurs.

Quality comes out on top. Chelsea deserved it without a doubt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,558 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

    Typical Spurs

Probably fall apart now in the league. They have no backbone whatsoever. If they want to keep that team/manager together have to win something soon.

Is there any pundit/commentator that we all agree on is good?

I find that people complain about everyone of them with every single game here.

That's just tremendous. To score 4 against this Spurs side is incredible. Held firm when the pressure was on. There really was a lot of good things from that game for Chelsea and Conte. The Italian's decisions were vindicated today.

Ordinarily I'd give my motm to Luiz for his stunning display today but I'm giving it to Hazard. When he came on Spurs looked close to taking the lead, he turned that game on it's head. If you want to be the best you must be the difference-maker in big games, this was a huge game and Eden Hazard is a huge player, a player that is amongst the very best in the world. Magical.

Roy Keane says it how it is
Gary Neville and Carragher are ok
Lampard has been doing a few bits recently and comes across ok

I commented on Murphy because he was particularly bad. His monotonous voice is suited to live commentary, and he was talking absolute nonsense.

Spurs have lost 7 successive FA Cup semi-finals after today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

Spurs will be doing well to hang on to Kane and Alli as they'll soon begin too realise if they want to win silverware, there going to have join a club that's DNA is synonymous with it.

Spurs fans leaving early is disappointing. Their team were the better team today. Matic's goal while amazing is rarely going to happen. So in that regard they were really unlucky. Hazard's goal was criminal, that they let him have so much space.Spurs in many ways shot themselves in the foot with the free, the penalty and allowing hazard the freedom of Wembley.

That said, Conte should be asked for his lottery numbers Chelsea were extremely extremely fortunate to have won that. Result flatters them a bit. Most matches those goals that bailed them out aren't going to occur. You do however make your own luck and Chelsea's shape and organisation were definitely a factor in that. Can't begrudge them a place in the final they've been the most consistent team in the EPL this season.

And in exactly how many matches is Erisken going to put an inch perfect cross like that in? That was basically a goal out of nothing. The backspin on the Kane free kick in injury time was pretty funny though, have never seen anything like it.

I mean Spurs controlled the game, but I don't recall Courtois having to make one save today other than the FK at the end. Didn't do much with all the pressure.

Spurs are an excellent team. They just seem to shít the bed. The third goal in particular was so lax and not them normally. Hazard should never be left there on his own.

What are you a moderator in as a matter of interest? Welcome to the football forum anyway. Spurs are the team that has **** the bed to the extent that Chelsea's unassailable 10 point lead has decreased to 4 points in the last five weeks.

If you need any technical explanations such as the offside rule or anything just pm me.
