Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For those who support abortion- do you believe in term limits ?

After looking at various 8th Amendment threads and reading comments from those who want unrestricted abortion not only for rape and incest victims but for everyone, I find myself disturbed at a definite lack of empathy for the possibility that there is an innocent unborn baby directly affected and some notion that there is never a baby until it is born which I reject

Some people (e.g many feminists and sjws) want abortion at up to 9 months which I find absolutely grotesque beyond belief.

Others are more 'reasonable' and believe it has to be done at a very early stage or else not at all.

What say you ? Please comment with your idea of a term limit.

    No term limit, no.

But the procedure would have to be executed differently if the termination were to be carried out late in gestation, i.e. you can terminate the pregnancy at any time, but you never get to decide whether the foetus's life is terminated.

That's a medical call for the doctors to make, let the doctors handle it.

As early as possible and as late as necessary IMO.

Definitely a time limit. The idea of aborting a viable fetus is obscene.

    What defines a viable fetus?

Mod-One thread is enough for this.
