Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Training twice a day

What would be an ideal plan for working out twice a day or once in the morning once in the evening?

I'm on a cut at the moment and I am half way through starting strength as i haven't been to the gym in a long time

I'm 6'2 male and weight around 14.2 stone . Roughly around 25% bf
I've seen some decent results so far eating 1915 calories a day. I have a lot of time to go gyming now and i feel 2 a day would be ideal but i don't know how to plan it

Do i eat more calories? Do i train everything second day? Anyone have any advice? Thank you

How many days a week are you training currently?
What sort of routine. Is it just SS 3 days or something more?

I usually do 3-4 days per week

I usually train 6-7 times a week. Which means I'll often train twice a day. But I'd never double up on weights routine days. I keep my weights sessions on their usual 3 days a week and the extra sessions are non-weights sessions.

Edit: just what I do btw, by no means a rule.

You could easily do cardio in one session and weights in the other. Or do legs in the morning, upper body in the evening. Day or two between and a repeat should be fine. You could also do push in the morning and pull in the evening.

Plenty of ways to mix it up.
