    Staying here on a Sunday night in a few weeks,booked it because it was reasonably priced and very central.Is the bar in the hotel lively on Sunday nighs?,what other late bars would people recommend?,thanks.

    Options are, get fleeced with the tourists in Temple Bar or feel really old and go to a nightclub full of young fellas and young wans:D

    The bar is nice is the mercantile, id go out elsewhere earlier in the evening and head back there for a quite one when other places are winding up. Residents side of the bar will stay open later too.

    Cheers,was hoping for a residents bar,any other late bars that mIght be busy?,What's Whelans like on a Sunday night these days?,been a while since I was in there.
