    Hi folks,
I am doing some research on automated time tracking software and was wondering if anyone out there was using any packages like rescue time, timely app, chrometa etc. Just had a few questions if you could spare me a few minutes.

I had used TimeDoctor when I was working as a remote employee. It works fine for Windows. On the other hand, I am trying the trial version of FreelanceStation from here https://ds9soft.com/FreelanceStation/ nowadays for Mac. I don’t know anything about Chrometa, but Timely is an outstanding one. So, what other questions are you willing to ask? I am here to assist you.

Thanks Shaunta. Quick question - did you find any that recorded phone usage?

    Phone usage while working?

Yes. Seems to be possible on Android but have not found any that record phone usage for iPhone. In particular what I was looking for was a record of calls made, duration and contact/company name so that I can bill more accurately.

I didn't check as it wasn't the part of my job but yes, many apps including Timely, Hubstaff and RescueTime has the features to track mobile usage. Hours Time Tracking is good for iOS. Have you tried it? Here, you can also read more about such apps https://blog.hubstaff.com/best-mobile-time-tracking-apps/.

This one is also helpful in this regard. https://blog.toggl.com/best-time-tracker-apps-iphone/. I would recommend you to go with paid option instead of free versions because usually, free apps don't offer quality features.
