    Afternoon folks,

I am forever looking at some totally beautiful creations, colnago tricolore's and there is a pinarello(cant not remember the model) my wife calls it bike porn, I dont disagree, not that I would be able to afford either.

I am wondering what would the normal trade in value be when the BTW comes around again, I am sorry to say that the wimplist (wimp not gimp) is my home for a big portion of the year, regular service, new tyres etc, stored indoors.

My faithfull mount, aka Betty Swollocks is a 2013 Bentini Monza. I would love to go nucking futs and get a Colnago but there is no way that is going to happen, unless the lotto angel smiles my way.

Trade in value depends on the make/model and condition of the bike, there's no sliding scale rule as every bike is different. Unfortunately in your case, your bike is very low end to start with and so will be worth virtually nothing after 5 years. You'd be better off trying to get what you can for it on donedeal or adverts and put that along with the BTW scheme however if that's your entire budget then your looking at entry level bikes and your dream bikes are well out if your reach.
