Cork Midsummer: seeking mothers & daughters

    We are looking for mother and daughter pairs living in the Cork region aged 13 years upwards to any age (including older mothers in their 70s and 80s) to take part in a participatory project titled Like Mother Like Daughter with leading international theatre company Complicite for this year's Cork Midsummer Festival.

    No one needs to have performance experience, or learn any lines. This is a very gentle project sharing experiences of being mothers and daughters with a combination of workshops and live performance events this June. It should be a really fun and enjoyable experience. If people can't make one or two workshop sessions then we can be flexible around this.

    This will be to work towards a live performance event for Cork Midsummer Festival this June 2017. All participants would be paid an honorarium (expenses) for the performances and would normally take part in 2 - 3 performance events. The Director Jane Nash and Producer Poppy Keeling will be visiting Cork on 6 and 7 May so would love to meet potential interested participants then.
