Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rashford hat trick tonight.3 nil win and we go third.

I dont see us ( United ) winning tonight but maybe we have some luck which overides our Injury List

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,388 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

Had we not been so ravaged with injuries I'd have been pretty confident of getting a result. That team and more so that bench are a worry. Zero pace in the middle is tough.

Personally I feel it's more likely we line up a 32221 kinda formation with darmian in the back three and young at lwb. Would be much more confident of getting something like that.

    Sporting Life analysis goes "DRAW"
They actually went for 0-0 and Kompany MOTM.
I'm watching this - there had better be goals !!

I would approve of this...my fantasy football team would also like it very much :D

I am confident that we could win. City haven't looked great lately, definitely beatable. Silva missing would also be a bonus.

I suppose a city win would be the best for everyone. City have a handy run in.

    FYP there niallo! ;)

Edit: If anything was going to be "best for everyone" (Utd excluded I assume) then would it not be a draw?

Afraid to watch this almost! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

I think United will narrowly lose... or draw/win and slip up vs Swansea.

A win would be amazing. After that I'd take draws vs Spurs and Arsenal and touch wood win our remaining games (espeically the Europa ones :D)

Head says 2-1 City or 1-1 draw
Heart says 0-3 with Rooney getting a brace after Rashford opening the scoring :)

City 3-1 Pep plays to win and score goals and that United team isn't great if everyone was honest. Jesus with the last goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭Minderbinder

I can see Otamendi getting sent off and Kompany getting injured as they try to cope with Rashford's pace.

Not looking forward to this at all; utd have all the momentum. I'd take the draw right now.

Wife: are we catching up on designated survivor tonight?
Me: can't, going to the pub for the match
Wife: oh sound, who are Liverpool playing
    Me:....... Eh....... City.

Id take a draw too... wonder would they just call it off for us and call it a draw.

Utd have a great away record this year so I dont think they'll lose, I'd say score draw.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,406 ✭✭✭Korat

Hope for a win but I'd be happy with a draw.

My OH gets google notifications for all the United matches. There's been more than one occasion where I've forgotten that there's a match on a weekday evening and I'll get "Eh... Are you not watching the match?" Glad I put a ring on it, but it means I'd never get away with that. :D

2-1 to United . Rashford Toure and Fellani to score in that order :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

I wonder will Pep stuck with Navas as a wing back.
That experiment hasn't worked at all but he seems adamant about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,507 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Herrera, Fernandinho to pick up a card, Aguero to score 10/1 with PP. Attractive.

Hope the scenario above pans out for my own gain, but United scrape it 1-2.

Heart says United. Head can't see past a draw though.

People were complaining because it was no effort put in then they complained because it was too much to read so I did this one in picturebook style

BTW I made a balls of this tonight. It's the young ones birthday so I took a half day so we could go for a meal tonight. Won't arrive at the restaurant till half seven at the earliest. If they don't have sky sports I guarantee they're be no time for birthday cake. Shovel the dinner in and back to the house for the game.

Need a big game from Martial tonight. City back 4 should be vulnerable to pace but that fecker Aguero could hurt us as he's class.

    C'mon United!!

Who would have thought at the start of the season with two big managers coming in that this would be an almost nothing game on a Thursday night. I really thought both would be fighting for the league.
