Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Huge chance missed.

If I supported anyone other than United, I would loathe Herrera.

Yeah he's one of them players, can see why Utd fans love him though.

Great defending by Sane there ;)

If United score first I'd worry they'll be able to shut City out for the remainder of the game.

Ah man... This is a hard watch.

Herrera is an easy target for most teams. He is rattled now.

    Why?

    There is no atmosphere

If I was the ref and saw an extra minute of this sh?te was being called for, I'd say f?ck that and blow it up.

    This is putrid.

No excuse for missing that, should have went across the keeper

He has a shorter fuse than Ronnie Pickering to be fair. Easy to get into his head.

Utd in a great position here.

Caus Gerrard only lasted like 30 seconds vs Ander

Only reason i can think of from a pool fan.

Considering the ref won't give a bloody foul, despite City already having missed out on two bookings, maybe there is a need.

Jaysus phb blast from the past!

He gets worked up too easy. He missed a simple chance two minutes later then because he is worked up.

Good news is United aren't losing. Bad news is a draw is not good enough. Have to win this game for the rest of the PL to be of any interest.

What's it have to do with Liverpool? Herrera clearly has a short fuse, he has moments like he did with Fernandinho quite often.

Well when the ref is clueless it doesn't help. Fouled about 3 times by toure, then Fernadiniho comes in like a big mowler on his tractor and the ref does nothing

    Annoy anyone

Poxy game. City without Silva don't have enough to break down United's defensive set-up and Mourinho will be happy to let it play out like this, hoping to nick one on the break.

Really with the some of cities shooting I wouldnt worry too much.

Not at all impressed with the ball rotation of Toure and Fernandinho. Too slow, too passive, should be finding one of the front 4 between the lines more often. Sterling, and particularly Aguero have missed big chances.

Man Utd rely heavily on Fellaini once City get into a shape, when they counter they are looking to Martial and Rashford on the break but City's shape has dealt really well with that so far. Guardiola will be delighted about that, but may be less delighted to not be a goal ahead and to not getting their patterns right in the half spaces.

Ref isn't great tbf, but you can't ignore the fact that Herrera has some temper. The type of player you love when he plays for your team, but everyone else absolutely hates, like Costa and Suarez.

You would never think this is a derby game. Lacking that bit of fight from both sides

Pogba has had a very quiet first half.He really needs to up his game in the second half.Just not good enough from him so far.

    No

Ref seriously needs to start blowing for the fouls and start booking players. 4/5 times now City have got away with blatant fouls.

Blind is really struggling to keep track of Aguero as well.

Really missing Pogba's ability to pick a pass.

I don't watch City all that often but has Sterling's shooting improved at all since joining?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Aguero is refusing to pass to Sané when it's the obvious pass. It's a little pathetic.

Never mind it looks like nobody from City can finish today. Suppose if they've been practicing against Bravo they'll have gotten complacent.

Pretty poor game so far. No composure in the final third. Jesus to come on and do something exciting.

Maybe Sky will realise that the dwindling viewership numbers are due to the shocking product on show in recent years.

No stupid camera angles or Jamie Carragher random insights is gonna fix that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Mourinho clapping his hands there. I assume to keep warm or possibly awake

And that clearance is a perfect example of why Valencia needs a left foot

Lucky he's in England, you get a three match ban for that in Spain!

City are completely dominant. Getting every bounce of the ball. This is Guardiola's cup final, we won't get anything from this game.

    Glazers Out!

Fully convinced Lingard's gonna come on and win this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Nailed on Utd winner here, smash and grab style. City only have themselves to blame for poor finishing.

The HD picture quality tonight is terrible as well.
    SD is garbage.
Not sure why the picture is so bad, probably trying to plug ultra HD.
