What Pentax Compatible Wide Angle Lens?

    Hey Folks,

After six years away I bought a Pentax K 5 ii recently and am enjoying getting back into having a proper camera once again. I had always held onto an FA 50mm 1.4 and a Tamron 35-70mm CF Macro.
A few weeks back I picked up some M series lenses, a 100mm F2.8 and a 28mm F3.5. The wide angle I really like but shots seem soft and blurry from it. I'm not sure if it's me, shooting conditions or the lens so I've been thinking that an autofocus lens would really be the route to go as it'd certainly speed up composition times.

To keep costs down I'd prefer to look at second hand. It'll mainly be for landscapes so am open to recommendations. I've no idea what I need to spend on something like this. Is a max price point of €250 doable? Are either of the below worth looking at? I've read about both but opinions seem to vary:

    Many thanks.

The 28mm F3.5 will be soft, if your using it wide open. You'd need to stop it down to around f8 to get sharper shots.

    Consider the 35mm DA https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-DA-L-35mm-F2.4-AL.html

My own copy is very good, at f5.6 and below. Its a cheap-ish lens, but the quality is excellent.

You'd pick up a good second hand one for around €100. That would give you €150 to buy a good tripod, essential if you intend to take landscape shots.
