MBP with fried GPU, read a fix for installing Ubuntu, how about Windows?

Hey everyone, as the title suggests I've got one of those faulty 2011 MBP's.
Ive tried using single user and linux to move/disable kexts relating to the GPU.

I will currently access recovery and safe mode.
I read somewhere that you can flash Ubuntu onto the mac.
    How about windows?
My thinking is it may be easier to disable any divers that boot on that platform.

My stumbling blocks so far are
    1. MBP will not allow half the drive to be formatted to MS DOS FAT.
    2. Safe mode does not recognise USB's, so boot camp is out.
    3. Windows ISO is on a Ex Fat drive and does not show in Boot options.

    Ideas welcome :)

You can use BootCamp to run Windows 10 directly on the Mac Hardware ? Is that what you're asking ?

I doubt it will make any difference though, the board is faulty.

I think it's more likely I'll be able to remove the drivers on a windows install that make the GPU start.

I can only boot in safe mode so boot camp is out as you need access to USB

Yea tried, didn't work for me though! Under if it's hardware or user error.

Have it running ubunto now, reasonably stable but I can't stand that OS so I think i may just sell the machine for parts

If you don'tike stock Ubuntu there's plenty of other desktop environments to try - Ubuntu Mate is very popular right now?

Seem to be in a similar pickle at this stage with the faulty GPU, the best solution I found so far with regarding to get this working again. Is to replace just the GPU alone (http://www.ebay.ie/itm/291122531359?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
Other places seem to offer reflows In Ireland, but this is just heating the darn gpu for a temporary fix and they still charge 180 quid for it.

Replacing the entire logic board seem to cost around 700 bucks from the likes of Macactivate
