Kiss is a very lucky man to have a job next year.

It'll be interesting to see what Ulster can do next season. If they struggle again then he'd have to see the door.

Was it more important to deny an LBP than to score a TBP?

The bonus point system is designed to make that last attack count for both teams. Kicking it out was a loser move.

he's doing a **** job at showing it today.
Rather have a player who's good all the time than a player who's great only some of the time.

    Conciliation there at the finish.
Really? Didn't know they were splitting up. :pac:

Piutau has two poor games and suddenly he's no good.

He'd walk into the Leinster team lads. He'd walk into any team in this league.

Rodney Ah You is a complete mystery to me. We all knew he was rubbish and completely unfit. Why on earth did they sign him?

    Not exactly much choice.

He needs to sort his selection policy out. It is a shambles. Why has our best back been on the bench the last few weeks? F*** reputations Les, pick your best players. I don't care if he is only 20/21 he (Stockdale) is far and away our most attacking threat.

The breakdown is awful, the amount of turnovers is laughable. I have hopes that Gibbs will sort that out.

Henderson has got to play second row. I'm sorry but he is not the same player at 6. How can he put in a brilliant performance against England (one of the best sides on the planet) and then not show up for Ulster in the last few weeks?

    Timoney looked decent.

    And where is Cave?

Luke Marshall's game has deserted him, Olding's leg is dead and McCloskey isn't being used on the crash. Centres are a ****show right now.

It's something quite frustrating too, given the depth of quality centres available - probably more than any other province.

Coaching really has to be questioned.

And Ludik, who up until Christmas was our best player.

That's kind of the problem. If he'd only run a bit.

The problem with our centres is that they are all pretty much the same level. Kiss doesn't know what his best centre pairing is.

The problem with Piatau is he keeps trying to walk it in.

I'd like to see a McCloskey/Stockdale centre pairing. Plenty of biff there. May be a bit too route one, but if you're forwards aren't getting the job done you need to get consistent go forward from somewhere.

Back three would be redundant in attack.

Problem for me is the coaching. Quality across the pitch when you look at the team sheet but no real direction on the field.

Gibbes should make some difference next year but if the same dross is served up next year then Kiss needs to be given the door.

It's like when your wife asks you "how do I look?"

Anything less than gushing praise and you're sleeping in the box room.

Piatau is a 10/10 player but be is giving 3/10 performances. It's the gap from potential to actual delivery that is frustrating.

Kiss basically has until Christmas to get it right as by that stage Ulster will need to start looking elsewhere.

The problem is personnel wise I don't see how next season will be much better. Coetzee has to stay fit and Cooney needs to make an impact.

I'm pretty much presuming that Gibbs is coming over to coach the team and Kiss will run the wider show.

Lancaster has a much bigger role with Leinster than "defence" coach.

Gibbs will make a big difference and to be fair, when the appointment was announced it was the fact that Kiss was there that attracted him to the role according to his comments.

I'd be surprised with his experience if he moved for anything less than a head coaching role and I'd say that is what will transpire.

He's going to have a job sorting out that pack though, bar a few exceptions they are very soft and some of the squad look borderline unfit.
