Sligo Adventure Park (Lissadell) - Closed

    Thinking of things to do over the weekend and rembered Sligo Adventure Park that was setting up in the grounds of Lissadell House, but their website has very little information and their facebook page and twitter have no updates since 2016, apart from a change of business hours in March, now showing 'permanently closed'

    I'm guessing the venture never took off, anyone know why?

    they have tried a few things out there .. but nothing seems to stay .. there was a pet farm aswell .. and the mountain bike trail thing .. even Sligo Tri Club had an Olympic Triathlon out there ... but moved it to Hazelwood .. and its back there again this year .. wonder why nothing seems to stay for long ....?

    Have been out there a couple of times in the past couple of months, lovely place. It's a real pity I didn't know about the pet farm. Have brought my daughter to the open farm in Ransboro but it is strange having a golf driving range located practically on top of it.
