Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Samsung G388F android phone and I have been trying to transfer some videos I recorded with the phone to my computer via USB cable but I just can't do it. I can transfer photographs all right but the videos are beating me.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

    plug in phone
    open my computer folder
    open your phone folder
find the folder with your video (usually DCIM folder)
    copy and paste

    Thanks for the reply.
I should have explained my problem a bit clearer.
I made some videos on my phone and they were automatically backed up to Google photos. Somehow I managed to delete some of the original videos from the camera/gallery. I tried retrieving them from the trash bin but in doing so, I erased them completely. The videos that are still in the camera/gallery, I can transfer them just as you have advised me in your reply, but those that are in Google photos, I can't transfer from the phone at all. I can play them on the phone alright but I would like to transfer these to my computer as well.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks again.

If you go to photos.google.com and sign in you should be able to download the media files from there.

EDIT: I think drive.google.com works too. There's a link on the left for Google Photos.

This is on the PC by the way, not the phone.

Use an android file transfer program, have you used Airdroid? It supports file transfer, I also use a transfer program to transfer contacts, photos, sms from phone, you can give it a try, MobiKin Assistant for Android.
