Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Discussions on diving are pointless until all players from all teams stop doing it.

If you're a fan of a team who's never had a player win something from a dive.

    Lets hear from you.

    Thought so.

Loads of players dive BUT it's refreshing to see fans (even from his own club) condemn it.
I really dislike the practice because basically it's cheating AND before anyone says it ... it's not part of the game and should never be.

Don't have BT on but can well imagine them saying it's not a dive. BT, Sky and MSM in general is rubbish, and we laugh at North Korea.

Anyway, with my tinfoil hat firmly on, I will say that Robbie Musto and Robbie Earle pulled no punches on CNBC calling it a dive.

They just kept saying ref got it wrong but never really said he dived

Great block, really put his body on the line.

It is no different from bringing a man down who is breaking away. One stops a chance at goal, the other creates one. Calling for retroactive bans for one and not the other is hypocritical and illogical.

It's the underhanded cheating element that differentiates them. One is an obvious rule break the consequence of which is accepted. The other is a sly underhand attempt to deceive the referee

Fantastic block and out all by Herrera

Robbie Savage, I'm convinced he is there for comedy purposes like Merson on soccer Saturday.

FFS,now Bailly injured. It's like an episode of Casualty this week or so.

This is some disaster. Smalling and jones need to man up and get themselves fit to play.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,861 ✭✭✭fuzzydunlop85

Disaster even if we win now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,413 ✭✭✭chupacabra

This entire game has reeked of fatigue. Too many games for us.

If Bailly was man enough, they wouldn't need too. /Mourinho

Perhaps you're right, I had to make the decision in the heat of the moment, didn't have the benefit of a replay.

This united team needs a fair amount of beautification, not easy on the eye, can't see Jose changing his approach next season even with new signings in tow.

    Jose warming up haha

Ref couldn't see properly, from the linesman's view it looked like Fabianski took him down. The ref had to go with the linesman's decision.

Really need to push for the second goal. We're never safe at 1-0

Actually, I was trying to make a funny about not having the benefit of a replay of the CNBC half time coverage.
