Our delivery from set pieces has been atrocious.

    We don't deserve the win.

You'd swear we won the league the way we are playing. Taking it easy. Awful stuff.

Lovely stuff. Swansea should have won, but the draw will do.

Not sure you've seen the fixture list.

Of course I have but for you to say top 4 was gone long ago is nonsense. Considering, albeit with a better selection of players, we should have beaten Arsenal and we were the better team v Spurs. You are assuming Liverpool will have a flawless run in also.

To 4 wasn't gone long ago. Possibly unlikely now after this, especially with further injuries but still not gone.

  • Can't comment on the match beyond the last ten minutes but Jose has to take some stick here

Ridiculous we couldn't get a win at home against a side in such a poor run of form

Forget about top 4 EL or bust

Didn't deserve to win the game. Swansea were very good at times.

Classic and standard result for us at home this season.

    New record for United.

25 unbeaten in a row in the PL.

14 draws for Man Utd this season.Just 3 away from matching the premier league record.

It really is disgraceful stuff. So many of those players are playing for their careers at the club and they serve up that ****e. The collective ability to completely **** the bed in the final 3rd for full games is one of the modern wonders of the world. Rooney hitting Martial with the best chance of game sums it all up. Blind and Rooney atrocious today, Lingard and Young industrious but ultimately limited.

Swansea would be out of the bottom 3 had they won today. That dive could really cost them

You say its nonsense, yet here we are.

If Liverpool get less points out of their last 8 games than United does from their last 8 games then Liverpool FC might as well just forget the whole football lark.

It'll be the fact that they have been consistently ****ing awful all year that costs them, not one isolated incident.

    Fair result in my opinion.
Never a penalty and a harsh enough free kick given against Rooney.
United seemed to lack desire for me. Little or no urgency.

Embarrassing that we have that many draws at home

You can only blame players so much, but it's Jose's fault as well

    He doesn't escape criticism

Man Utd have now tied the premier league record for most home draws in a season.

He changed things when Swansea were controlling the midfield and it worked but the players just looked "off it" today.Too many going through the motions. After the change,Young and Valencia got acres of room to attack but did nothing. Rooney was a waste of space, put in as a number 10 but dropped into midfield and did feck all bar scoring the pen.

Once again, you are ignoring the original point that I pulled you up on.

You said Man United's chance of a Top 4 place was gone LONG AGO. Not after this, not just before this but long ago!

And, yes, given the way both teams respective games have gone this season, even though we are now a point behind with a similar number of games to play and on paper United have very much the more difficult of fixtures, PL football doesn't always work like that.

Liverpool are very much favourites now but not unlikely they will screw up along the way the same way it is not unlikely United will pull out performances against Arsenal an/or Spurs.

3 away games in a row now for ye. Tough ones, but ye'll get 5 or 7 points I reckon as away from home ye are better generally.

Yes, I've been pessimistic on the chances of making top 4 for some months now. Because I looked at the fixture list and I looked the form of the team going into those fixtures, and I looked at the table. Liverpool surprised me recently by making a mess of the Crystal Palace game, and United surprised me by beating Chelsea. But all the other results are fairly expected.

I don't know why you are getting so excited about it. I didn't expect United to take top 4 for some months now. You're going to have to come to terms with that somehow.

"I don't know about the injuries. I think Luke Shaw's must be a big injury, because to leave the pitch after 10 minutes I am expecting a very big injury".

More a petty dig at the physios if you ask me. Shaw was making every effort to convince them to let him stay on.

I dunno, after what he said about Shaw in the last few weeks I thought it was aimed at him...although he does have previous with medical staff too :pac:

Unfortunately I haven't been following your analysis all season!

Anyway, nice call nostradamous! You have been proven correct I concede........with 12 points still up for grabs and a point between the teams.

Yeah, probably was. It is getting f*cking ridiculous these digs now. They have worked to a point but they have deflected a serious amount of criticism from him.
I don't recall him being like that at Chelsea first time round and although he made a few digs at Inter, nothing to a par to this.

Would be one of the biggest bottle jobs if Liverpool fail to win on Monday

Utd deserve to be where they are, not good enough

A draw might not be the worst result yet. I wouldn't call it a bottle job. I mean did utd bottle it today. Sometimes teams just don't win games.

Utd did bottle it yes and have been doing so at home all season. It's when the unique opportunity presents itself to go ahead of teams the players and the manager fail to grasp the chances

Given the circumstances..number of injuries, amount of game and a tougher run in for Utd, Liverpool are in a much better position

So yes if Liverpool fail to win Monday it would be a huge bottle job

**** the league as a Utd fan IMO
EL is going to be tough to win out but still the easier route by far into the CL but ultimately gives us another trophy

Surely it was a bottle job today by Utd then in that case? Neither are great teams. Both have played well at times this season, and are better than last season overall, but that's about it really, not a great claim for either to make.

It's still very much a 4 way battle for 2 spots, there will be some more unexpected results along the way.

Edit: just seen your post above. All the teams in the mix have bottled it multiple times this season.
