    hey
have a HKC 1070 system - all going well. However on one window which is tily & turn, whenever the window is left in the tilt position with the alarm deactiviated, the system goes into tamper alarm ....thinking that the contact is being tampered with

Any suggestions on how to stop this happening?
    thanks folks

Is it somehow catching the lid or putting pressure on the lid when you put the door in that position?
Would you be able to post up a pic of it?

    hope this works
it clears it OK, the gap is small though back to the contact box

I'd say there is a loose connection on the tamper loop either inside that junction box or inside the contact itself.

Does the zone stay tampered when that window is open?
If so the sensor may be wired into the tamper.
