Was 25m underground in Crag cave in Castleisland a short time ago at a steady 10C . Came back up and it was raining heavy , like stepping into a steamroom. Back in Tralee and rain had stopped with cloud breaking up letting some sun through. Feeling warm and humid.

Ignore the sensor at Markree for the time being - it has been faulty.

My car was 27c but when I got home the reliable temp sensor at home had 26.0c on it. Yesterday it maxxed at 320pm at 25.4c. Also Finner is 26c so its fairly accurate id say

Thanks for the heads up on Markree

Incredibly hot and humid here. I've had a maximum of 24.8c so far. This is so unbearable. Easily my second warmest day for May on record.

Be grateful you don't live somewhere with a warm climate if this is a bit too much for you. I'm finding it so pleasant today. Wouldn't say no to another few degrees of heat

More cloud about today but still quite a lot of sunshine. Doesn't seem to be as hot as yesterday. It's 23.8C now after an earlier high of 24.3C.

Sunshine now and scattered cloud near Tralee

    20.9C

Not a sign of earlier rain, totally evaporated.

    Sea fog on the coast

Well it didn't get quite as hot as yesterday but, at 25.8C, it wasn't far off. It's currently 23.6C.
