Choosing subjects

Hey guys! I'm in third year, and I don't have to choose my lc subjects till next year. However, I was thinking about doing two foreign languages. Right now, I'm studying French for the Junior cert and I love it! I'm well aware that lc french is a big step up for jc, but I know I'll be willing to work immensely. I also want to do another language, I'm thinking about doing self thought Spanish. There's countless of great resources online and I'll catch up with the work I missed from Jc throughout Ty. Does anyone have any experiences of teaching themselves a foreign language? Was it challenging? And was it worth it in the end? To be honest, languages are the only subjects I enjoy in school. (Btw, my school only offers french and German :( ).

I am Lithuanian and I have been using Lithuanian state run resources online to improve my skills. I'm in Honours English and Honours French and I will be honest with you - if you're the type of person who has no life and will be studying every spare minute then, you can attempt two foreign languages for LC. However I simply cannot see how a person can learn Spanish in two years alongside a very demanding French course.
Of course it is up to you in the end.
