Lucas with his ironic salute dive was a bit daft but he has played a couple of nice through balls tonight.

Three shocking dives this weekend. At least the ref wasn't conned by Lucas like the Sane and Rashford dives.

The game has been poor as Watford are out to spoil not play.

I would not agree that Liverpool have been poor.

Liverpool had all the possession but Watford very hard to break down. They had two great shots from Lallana and Can and then a wonder goal.

Now up to them to close the game out in the second half.

Overall a poor half of football. The Coutinho injury disrupted things though. Lallana has been good since he came on, very unlucky not to get a great goal. The Lucas dive was just miserable, fully deserved booking, and not something that he can afford given his propensity to pick up more normal yellow cards. Great assist from him though for the goal, lovely floated ball. Assist machine now.

What a goal though, hopefully it means something at the end of the game though and contributes to a much needed 3 points. Great technique.

Lucas obviously thought this weekend was the one for dive penos to be given. Can had a bit of an exaggerated fall before that, but was caught by 2 challenges beforehand.

the ref got it right the law is a yellow card for diving not much else he could do
