That's why it's so interesting, i read a book called Spohie's World by Jostein Gaarder when i was a teen that blew my little mind, have read it a few times since. A great introduction to it..

I like cooking. If someone is important to me then I will cook for them. I can do a romantic meal for two but it would mean nothing to them.

Depends on the person. You can cook someone romantic meals and give them the world and your constant love and attention but in the end if you have a terrible personality like me you're only gonna get hurt.

Except I'm not. I did my best but it wasn't good enough. Just led to me getting very very hurt and wondering if I'll be alone forever.

Again, that wasn't your fault. Sometimes people just don't feel the same way, or they like to be assh*les that fcuk people around even though the other person has only ever been good to them. And that goes for people of all ages, not just teenagers. And the whole fcukboy/fcukgirl attitude towards dating is ridiculous and disgusting, people need to cop on

People suck and I can't wait until my mid term next week where I can get away from them. I can put my head down and get on with work and just do me on my own which is what I'm good at, even though just a friend would be nice to have for company.

Maybe you could ask one of your friends to do something during the midterm? It'd be nice because you'd have something to look forward to, and maybe even a distraction from things

You've got your whole life ahead of you. You're still a teenager.

In contrast, I've just tuned 30 and I've been single for six years. I don't think people see me as anything more than a friend or acquaintance.

I try but people don't want to hang out with me. I ask people and suggest things but they don't want to go. I have some plans of things to do on my own including a trip to Dublin which I'm looking forward to but I know loneliness will be a burden.
