Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't. Have a duvet day. You deserve it.

It is very tempting, but I've gotta get up eventually, I have to go out and get stuff :(
    The cheek!

I know! And I added some proper bangers to it!

At least you don't have to get up early. I've been on the road since 10 and I'm wrecked.

Just got into work. Only one here. Today may not be a bad day after all...

    How's the fresh trim?

Oh, I didn’t go in the end. I found out about a place in town that’s supposed to be very good, so going there on Monday. I’ve been less than impressed with my normal barber for a while anyway.

I find going to the barber a really anxiety inducing experience

Just that worry like you have no control over it all. And then it's like what if it turns out bad and you wonder if people will laugh or judge you and whatever.

Sorry to hear that dude, can’t be nice at all!
I do worry about how the beard will turn out after trim, but that’s not even nearly the same thing.

I'd like a beard. Can't really grow one though.

Every morning is an early one for me. They are nice sometimes but other times you'd be sick of them.

I don't mind actually being up early, I just find getting up is hard

    Sorry, had a call out...

Everyone can grow a beard, you just have to let it grow. It doesn’t all come in at once

I know you've to wait but I usually get sick of it after a week or two of waiting. Don't have patience for this sort of thing.

It does take a bit of patience to start with. Mine’s patchy when growing it from scratch, but fills in nicely after a few weeks. All good things come to s/he who waits!

True. I think I'll stay clean shaving though. I do like a smooth face and it's better than waiting and having your typical patchy teen beard and moustache.

Ah well, I’ve probably got nearly 20 years on you so it’d be easier for me to grow it in. I wasn’t able to grow what I’d consider a full and proper beard until I was in my 30s

Wait, if you’re half my age, that would make you 18 and born in 2000. In 2000 I’d just been deployed on active service to Kosovo! That does make me feel old!! :(
