Wondering if anyone has done this? Anyone any thoughts on what the course is like?

It appears to be small marathon in terms of participants, is that the case?

I've done this twice and am heading back for the third time. Good serious challenge of a marathon, up over Forth Mountain on the way out and then again on the way back. First 6 miles more or less uphill but that is the last 6 miles also on the way home so a good fast finish.

Dee Boland, who organises it, is well known in the running community and puts on a great day - I'd recommend it if you're not afraid of a few hills! Relay introduction this year may well swell the numbers.
