hi so our lawn mower went to heaven today lol

was looking at a Husqvarna lc353v 580 euro

would you recommend these mowers? are there better cheaper options? we have a medium sized garden.....

I'd recommend a Honda lawnmower, we had one for over 30 years, mowed 1.5 acres (I know by hand). Never missed a beat, must have had 1000's of hours on it and never once failed. The deck finally rusted out but engine was still running strong. I do remember having to replace the bag once in its life time is it rotted out at the seams.

The Honda mowers seem very expensive though any I have seen have been 1000 euro

I had a good chat with a lawnmower mechanic last year about strimmers, and he recommended Husqvarna, and to definitely avoid buying cheap strimmers or mowers in the large hardware supermarkets, as they are mass-produced (I had one of those and it didn't last long, and gave me a lot of trouble).

The same advice would apply to mowers. Spend €500 to €800 if you can (the top figure if you have a large garden, or tough grass), and you will get a good machine that will last (Husqvarna is good - they have Briggs and Stratton, or Honda, engines). Honda is a good make too.

Have it serviced every few years, especially if you use it a lot.

I have no connection with any of these brands or any shops.

If I was buying on of the four you show, I'd buy the first one.
