I don't want to sign in on the US Amazon at all, it's just that I'm going there in June, and I see the 8" HD8 is very affordable, so I'm thinking I might just upgrade there (I have a 7", it's my second Kindle Fire and I love it, but I used to have an 8" and I do miss the bit of screen).

Also, there was a brilliant power-loaded sort of model that came out at one time (HDX ?) but I can't seem to see it available anywhere, has that been completely taken out, or should I wait for something like that to become available again ? I think the processor sounded a lot faster.
