Anyone around would find a man walking into the sea clothes very odd. Autopsy may find communion. Stupid and boring. Don't think I will stay with it.

It's written by Matthew Graham, he wrote one of the worst Doctor Who episodes ever - Fear Her and co-created
He also cocreated Life on Mars, but that was the oddity in his CV.
Why do they all call her Kathleen?
Everyone seems to have married at 17.

Life on Mars was guilty of some poor dialogue but was terrific overall as was Ashes to Ashes. Red Water however, is diabolical stuff. Great for Dunmore East to have the bit of attention on the area and might draw some tourism but the ignorant writing of this is absolutely disgusting. That said, having witnessed fairly sh1tty earlier its a breath of fresh air.

Did I hear right when the priest was forcing his grandfather under water and it showed a flashback to the 1994 boating tragedy did he as a child deliberately not attempt to save his mother? Did he say no when his mother asked him to save her?

Nicely shot but really clumsily scripted. Conversations and scenes start unnaturally and nothing gels.
I'll stick with it to see if it improves but it's disappointing.

Also on RTE1 again next Saturday at 2300.

I just happened to have the TV and it came on, don't think I'll be watching the rest.

So, are we sticking with this one? Give it another go next week?

Im imagining one of those 80s ads with the likes of the hurlers Joe Cooney or Bobby Ryan 'Treat your cows for Redwater today' :D

So imagine Redwater is actually set in Co Waterford an addressed envelope might read

    Redwater
    Co Waterford

Too much usage of the word water there.
