Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can no longer play Mobdro on my Chromecast

Hi

I got a Lenovo tablet and a chromecast at xmas for a new LG smart TV. I downloaded Mobdro to the tablet and have been casting it to the TV occassionaly without any issues.
But yesterday, after not trying it for a couple of weeks, it wouldn't work. Mobdro runs on the tablet as normal...it tells me it's connected to the TV as normal...but when I try and send the selected channel to the TV, it keeps saying there is 'error connecting'.

So I now downloaded Mobdro to my samsung phone. It's getting the same errors when casting to the TV.
Yet Youtube casts to the TV via Google Home on my phone no problem.
(1 point to note: since I last got chromecast to work correctly, I downloaded that Google Home to my phone and watched youtube on the TV via chromecast and my google account- thats the only new thing done in the interim).

So is anyone else experiencing an issue with mobdro and chromecast?

edit- after some searching online, other people are having this problem. Some obscure channels such as Asian news will cast from a device but all the major Irish/UK/American channels won't.
Whats going on and any way around it?
