Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't think I've seen Liverpool win a game while listening to Carragher doing the co-commentary.

If they don't win it's not him or the fans at fault. We've been sh!t is the bigger concern than the atmosphere.

As a referee you are supposed to make decisions in the spot not think about them and then award them

Well obviously it's not his fault. Just stating a thought that came into my head.

Going long twice to Sturridge, never once to Origi.

Thankfully. Origi isn't capable of doing anything with a long ball.

Game should be suiting us now it's stretched but it's been the exact opposite.

I wish carra would stop saying "going forward"

Sturridge with some energy at least, could've done with him for more than 15 minutes.

    unlucky there from studge....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

    He should have started today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,508 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Sturridge again doing more in five mins than Origi in a whole game.

Why didn't we do this sooner, I don't think we'll have long enough now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

How is long not offside there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,787 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

That just needed a big toe.

Sturridge playing with purpose and direction. It's been a while since he looked so up for it.
    Hopefully it pays off.

If Klopp doesn't win this he has some questions to answer and I'll expect him outside my door at 4 PM

Great counter attack chance completely wasted again

Great chance to counter attack there and Firmino underhits the pass. Sigh.

A draw would be a poor result, a loss a disastrous one.

Never understand people leaving at this stage.

Anything can happen with about 10 mins left. Crazy.

    They're playing like there's 20 minutes left, not 5.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

Klopp sticking on Grujic with 5 minutes to go what is even the point he's not going to do anything of note in 5 minutes - I would have stuck him on earlier mind you I also would have stuck on Studge and Lallana earlier

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Sturridge so slow there, could not keep ball in that rest of players could have.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

    Wijnaldum was playing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Fcuking referee, clear as day deflection.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,508 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Klopp has to take some serious criticism here.

Whatever about the team selection, it was crystal clear to everyone on this message board a change was needed at 25 minutes.

A point here mightn't be too bad, Utd 5 pts back with 2 games in hand. they'd still have a lot to do to overtake us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,966 ✭✭✭Liamalone

    lol Klopp losing the plot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Funny how everyone sees it, even a man in china, but ref does not .

How can no match official not see a deflection given they have different angles of view?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,508 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Shame to see Klopp having to argue about a corner in stoppage time.

    Shouldn't have come to this.

lol Klopp flapping around like a chicken on fire :P

Watching the last twenty minutes from a supposed Barcelona sale interest point of view, I just don't see it in Coutinho to change things here in terms of dictating the situation.

Still worth a possible swap for Arda though.

Mig miles outside his box. Lucky there

I'd take a point here if you could guarantee 6 points from our remaining two.

Actually important Liverpool don't lose this now as Arsenal could overtake them then if they win their 3 games in hand. Let alone United.

Yeah maybe won't be basing their opinion on twenty minutes of his quietest game for a while though.

And he was right to, ref took advice from the 4th official earlier and awarded Southampton a free kick, then would not take advice from him for that decision
