Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Forster dropping clangers all season. Not today unfortunately.

Ref books a player for time wasting but doesn't add anything onto the 4 minutes...

Firminho has been muck yet again

    Milner is great.

Why? He didn't touch the ball with his hands.

I'll take that 1 point as it's better than a loss but we really need UTD and Arsenal to draw or Arsenal to win a Utd win would be disastrous

    Not a one mane team.

  • Just caught the last few minutes. Somehow Liverpool bottled it.
    That's a good result

Firmino and Sturridge butting heads, not once would Firmino play a pass to him, not once.

jaysis now we have to go away to West Ham who are coming off the back of beating Spurs

Given United's fixture list and inability to capitalise on any dropped points, any kind of result is good for Liverpool despite the flat performance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

I see an easy win for Arsenal. hey give United a taste of defeat. Has to come, and today is the day.
Arsenal are strong at home , only losing 2 same as Chelsea.

Sturridge looked good when he came on. I wouldn't be opposed to him starting next weekend and seeing how he does.

We looked very solid at the back today and had two very good saves from Forster to keep us out, peno and Grugic header, on another day they go in and we get all three points.

James Milner taking all the blame in his interview for the loss today. His first miss since 2009 from the spot.

Klopp should except people know how to play against his Liverpool side, just like teams knew how to play against LVG's United side.
    You can give them possession.

It was called "Liverpool's slip" on Sky Sports.

Sorry your lordship let me correct that "firmino"

It's a race for the top 4, not a title race. In that regard, a point at home to Southampton isn't that bad

Liverpool at home near the end of the season with top 4 in their control and fail to win?
    Yes that's bottling it

Tbh klopp needs to take a long hard look at himself for the way we have performed after xmas, im not talking results so much but just the way we have played and his inability to change things during games

Unfortunately I tend to agree with the two posts above .

Probably but at this stage every time a team doesn't get a result it's called bottling. It's lost all relevance.

Like all United home draws in the last few months when they had top four in their own hands?

    Yes what's your point
That was Utd bottling chance after chance

Like Niallo said Bottling is being way overused. You don't score, win, or loose and your bottling. I think we need a new word :pac:

Watching the last twenty minutes from a supposed Barcelona sale interest point of view, I just don't see it in Coutinho to change things here in terms of dictating the situation.

Still worth a possible swap for Arda though.

Dont see what he would add to Barcelona. If he wasnt Brazilian it wouldnt even be a conversation. For me hes a slightly more efficient Joe Cole

Joe Cole was a very talented player but never a world beater, have people forgotten that already

Are you arguing about Coles level or do you think Coutinho really is a Barcelona level player??

Im not sure how its stupid. I think Joe Cole is very talented, I think Coutinho is a more efficent version of Joe Cole. They have a very similar game
Did you maybe not watch Joe Cole at Westham?
    Yes Im being serious
