Expo done, bought myself a few bits but absolutely raging they didnt have any of the orange quarter zips left
Also, cant believe I done all this training without a flip belt, what an invention!
I cant echo what everyone has already said enough, huge thanks to WW for taking this tough task of teaching newbies on, AMK and and scot to name a few (theres so much more!!) and every single person who gave advice along the way and listened to me moaning about my knee!! Nerves have finally set in now, finished in work this morning and they hit like a ton of bricks.
Ive also reached double my goal that I originally set for fundraising, so the support from everyone around me has been insane as well as on here. Its absolutely crazy.
Let the sleepless night commence!0 -

There's going to be more people in mcgrattans than at the start line of the marathon , maybe they can do wave start drinking times
Can't imagine what it's going to be like packed with runners not there usual clientele , I suppose there used to the boards crowd by now!0 -

The very best of luck to everyone toeing the line tomorrow, you've had fantastic mentors and been given the best of advice. Enjoy every second, dig deep when it hurts and smile when you cross the line. You only get one shot at your first marathon so try to soak it up and enjoy the moment 0

Ok, so now everything's done as far as preparation goes.
This time tomorrow we will be DCM Graduates!
What a time it's been on this thread. The support you guys give each other is unreal, unbelievably positive. Particularly since AFAIK most of ye have never actually met It's been a great experience for me, kind of overseeing it I suppose, with a bit of cheerleading added, and hopefully some useful advice in there too 
Of course, I've had some fantastic assistance too - big shout out to all my collaborators! (who have covered most/all of the things I was going to write about now )
Regardless of whether you hit your target or not, it's been a pleasure for me to do this, and I'm proud of you all for putting in so much effort. You've got yourselves into a position which not long ago you wouldn't have thought was possible. Enjoy the build up as the crowds gather, and take in the support as you progress. Relax, head up, breathe, and don't forget to smile as you cross the finish line, and leave the Novice tag behind ! If and when it gets tough, visualise this. Think of the hard work you put in. Why did you decide to do this? Who you are doing it for? And of course, enjoy it! There won't be another first marathon
I hope to see as many as you as possible in McGrattans post race. And of course, whether you get to the pub or not, the all important DCM 2017 race reports are most eagerly awaited

I have not read back all over the thread loads to read and bed is calling I was hoping to be in it all ready
But I just wanted to come on and wish all my fellow novices the very best of luck tomorrow it has been a great journey and I hope you all smash your goals tomorrow and most of all enjoy it
