Very few people on this list that dislike of would be inexplicable, in my view. Any person has off putting characteristics if you concentrate on them hard enough. Familiarity breeds contempt and all that.

I'm just looking at Evanne Ní Chuilean doing the sports news though, she strikes me as potentially being a massive dose.

I like her but a lot of that is down to the fact I find her very attractive.

Now, Nuala Carey is another matter altogether. I’m sure she’s a lovely person but I can’t stand her. I don’t know what it is but when I see her presenting the weather, or even the Lotto, I get “inexplicably” annoyed.

Jeff Stelling from Sky Sports. The whole ‘everyman’ thing seems very contrived to me. I feel like he is very different off-camera. I have zero evidence for this assertion.

I can't stand Blathnaid. Remember on the Late LAte Toy Show when Ryan was all like 'Bully's never succeed, and they never get anywhere in life?'...
You then look at Blathnaid, who's had a constant seat at RTE... yet Sheana Keane never got a look in after the whole Afternoon show debacle.

In 2007(?), he actually hosted an hour long documentary about the impending crash. He was one of the few RTE people to stick his neck out and make this "bold" prediction at the time.

Not a hack and is actually genuinely interested in the topics he presents.

He's actually one of the good guys in RTE.
