Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The problem here is that if you can't stand someone, you usually have a fairly good facking idea why...
Lots of people I can't stand.
and people who 'inexplicably' can't stand someone are pretty much psychotic.

Nope I just don't like like them, no reason to analyse it further.

The last one is not quite true-sometimes someone you cannot stand reminds you of someone you knew, or else they don't seem sincere. That's just life experience, or experience with similar individuals. You can start to tell real sincerity from all the fakeness.
And then someone else just grinds your gears/ rustles your jimmies and you have ZERO idea why.

Being psychotic means you have no connection with reality, in this case we do-there's no son of Sam's here.

Totally understandable. He's a professional gobsh!te, as is his female counterpart Katie Hopkins. Two people who failed at their chosen professions and now make a living talking rubbish.

+1 for Piers Morgan. Can't stand that guy, he's insufferable.

Hatered for Piers Morgan is far from inexplicable.

Prince William and Princess Kate, I couldn't think of a particular reason to dislike them but they come across as a pair of dry arses with their conservative clothes and bland smiles. Have either of them ever said anything interesting in public or expressed an opinion on anything?
As much as I agree with your general sentiment, one should also remember that within the realms of the Royal Family, anything remotely controversial is almost certainly looked down on for obvious reasons, so as not too avoid bad publicity etc, so I'm sure both of the aforementioned individuals have had substantial media training in how to be as acceptably boring as possible in public.

Goes with the job, doesn't it? Be as safe, mundane, middle of the road and boring as humanly possible. I'd imagine Harry finds that hard. William has no choice in the matter, being a possible future King. And I'm sure Kate was well briefed before marrying in to the family as to what was expected of her.

Piers Morgan is hard to like because he is a smug, arrogant, condescending twat. His accusation of Shapiro "smiirking", came across as disingenuous, unpleasant and unnecessary.

Going off topic now but Shapiro doesn't seem to be against some form of gun control, with regard to background checks and guns in the hands of irresponsible people.

Piers Morgan is in favour of more gun control as well but I got the impression that he was too cagey to say what he really thought this time, in front of his American audience. I've seen Morgan being more vocal on this previously but not this time.

I couldn't say that I saw enough to say that Morgan got schooled on this particular one, though. Morgan seemed to dodge the arguments.

Overall, Piers Morgan is an absolute arse but it's plain to see why.

But that's explicable. Every other chef who goes to amazing countries shows off the sceneries-Skehan points the camera at himself, eating.
Whats the point of spending so much money to go abroad, then. And also, there's this guy, who just HATES him.

Without even looking at Google, I can already deduce that Donal Skehan comes from a well-off family in Ireland- either a big farmer or son of a Guard or a banking executive or someone living in D4? Im guessing he also has a pretty girlfriend who is photogenic and likes to give interviews with Donal for some mag like RSVP or Rte Guide? He also is no doubt getting married to said girlfriend in the next year or so? He is the IDEAL fit for an RTE cooking show and no doubt they have thrown tonnes of cash at him to travel around the world but given him a back door to RTE if it doesn't work out? Im right, yeah?

Oh, and Karl Henry, the fitness "guru" comes across as a deeply insincere and unlikable individual.

Yep. He's a failed boy band-er who taught himself to cook. He married the girlfriend, is now expecting a baby.

Yes and yes, and also cook books.

    Shapiro's argument is actually retarded.

"We need guns to defend ourselves against tyrannical government".

Good luck with your AR15 buddy, they have Abrams, F-22A Raptor and surface to surface ballistic missiles. The "we need to be able to defend ourselves against government" argument made sense in 1791 when the height of military technology was muzzle loading muskets, not in 2017 where the US government controls a military arsenal which includes the MOAB and trillians worth of aircraft, armoured land units and a few million military personal.

Shapiro is one of those right wing media idiots who was on the debating team in university and knows how to sound intelligent by regurgitating rehearsed sound bites.

My brother has the same dislike of her, and just cannot explain it. Like, ask him to talk about anyone else, why he likes em, why he doesn't, and he can explain it no probs. Her, no.

James Corden - A self obsessed, ego centric, arrogant, painfully unfunny (but thinks he's hilarious) sack of utter ****.
Lewis Hamilton - Comes across as the opposite of being 'real'.
Tom Hardy - Most of his dialogue in films is unintelligible and his films are very overrated IMO, yet people are crazy over him. I just don't like him.
Kim Kardashian - No words needed.

Tom Hardy - Most of his dialogue in films is unintelligible and his films are very overrated IMO, yet people are crazy over him. I just don't like him.

Tom Hardy has the formula for the "actor of his generation" spiel down perfectly:
    1. Wear masks or heavy makeup in many of your films so people think you're not just a pretty face
    2. Grunt your dialogue incoherently, or use an OTT accent, as some kind of method acting statement
    3. Lose or gain lots of muscle/weight for your parts so it looks like you are really dedicated to your craft

He managed all of the above in that batman film he steroidally screeched his way through, while wearing a mask, to predictable acclaim from the critics.

He has also made sure he ticks all the "how to be popular in modern Britain" boxes (former drink/drugs habit, loves dogs and disabled people, patron of a cancer charity etc.).

He may be genuine of course, but he may not be.

I remember back in the late 90's/early 2000's her and Reese Witherspoon were being tipped to be the next female megastars. I always suspected only one of them would make it as they look somewhat alike, and acted in similar roles. Reese went down the comedy route and made a career out of it, while Julia seems to have been left behind.
