On a bit of a catch-up mission here, as I've had other commitments... :o

Ever so slightly surprised that Reverend Richard was eliminated second - I guess he *didn't* have as much of a novelty value as might have been expected.

Poor Charlotte was doomed as soon as her second dance ended, wasn't she? :o No doubt some are surprised that she lasted another two weeks. If she *was* pushed into doing Strictly, as one or two on here have suggested, then the fact that she has P**rs M*rg*n (I hate the man, as you might gather) and a former Strictly runner-up as colleagues might have had something to do with that... ;)

And I guess Brian just isn't as popular these days as he was twenty years ago. Oh, well - Septic Peg will forever remain a legendary character... :D:D;)

Just before Halloween Week gets underway, here's another look at the bookies' markets... :D;)

    Paddy Power: Alexandra 9/4, Aston 11/4, Gemma 7/2, Debbie 7/1, Jonnie 10/1, Joe 14/1, Mollie 16/1, Davood 25/1, Susan 33/1, Ruth 100/1, Simon 200/1
    Ladbrokes, Coral: Alexandra 9/4, Aston 11/4, Gemma 4/1, Debbie 7/1, Jonnie 12/1, Joe 14/1, Mollie 16/1, Davood 25/1, Susan 50/1, Ruth 100/1, Simon 200/1
    William Hill: Alexandra 9/4, Aston 11/4, Gemma 7/2, Debbie 7/1, Jonnie 10/1, Joe 12/1, Mollie 16/1, Davood 25/1, Susan 33/1, Ruth 100/1, Simon 100/1

No real surprise that Alexandra is now the favourite, following her jive. ;) Gemma has come in from around 9/1 three weeks ago, while Mollie has drifted out from around 10/1.

Davood has also drifted out, from around 12/1 - no doubt being in the DO with Charlotte two weeks ago was a factor. And William Hill resist the urge to offer extremely long odds on Simon, despite the fact that he's been in two DOs and clearly isn't popular... :D;)

Blackpool Week is three weeks away, so there's still a decent chance that at least one of Ruth and Susan will be there. ;)

Oti and Johnny were fab. I don't like Mollie King's dress.

None of the dances have been great tonight. Disappointing Hallowe'en show so far.

Didn’t like Gemma - she didn’t look very light on her feet - don’t understand the judges comments

Was that really a cha cha cha? Very little in it. Legs were stiff.

I felt nervous watching her, like she was gonna fall or something?!

Alexandra is a very good dancer but I don’t really look forward to watching her for some reason

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,792 ✭✭✭Postgrad10

What did Shirley say about Alex? Her mic was off?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,962 ✭✭✭✭dark crystal

That 8 from Bruno was a bit mean.

They need to improve all round for the next week. How disappointing.
