    Nooooo!

Have to stay away from thread until I've seen the show!

Debbie's salsa/samba (so confused between the two!) still just too perfect for me ... compared to alexandra's last week (I think it was the same dance???)

    Come on Gemma !! Fabulous

Gawd I'd forgotten how awful that singing was!

Whoever did Gemna's hair for that deserves an award!

That dance just suits her sooooo well!

The Tess/Claudia Dirty Dancing gag would have been funnier if Claudia came back with a watermelon.

Didn't do it for me I'm afraid.

Wow Alexandra is amazing!! Loved that dance routine.
Sadly for her she prob won't win but she is streets ahead of the rest of them technically.

I think Joe is well able to give her a run for her money!

Agree in the case of the other two though.

Correct. Quite a gap between Alexandra and the others.

The Guardian suggests the anti Alexandra bias is based on the expectation that a black woman should be humble and.shy & not capable and confident. I'm not crazy about her but by god can she dance. The Gemma one seems like a much more ambitious & less talented piece of work. Wouldnt like to work with her!!!

I was a bit underwhelmed by it

Jeanette always has to get her mug into shot. Every week

Debbie is great at being spun around

Debbie and Gio , very ballet like and again predictable

  • Registered Users Posts: 434 ✭✭Cateym

That was exactly as expected. Lots of lifts.

I thought that was lovely from Debbie - putting her ballet chops to work there.

So saccharin sweet it'd give you diabetes!

Funnily enough i used to have a music box just like that that played Lara's Theme from Dr Zhivago :D

I love Joe as well! I just think that there is something about Alexandra that makes her look more polished or something! I think Joe may win as people seem to like him the most...I would mind him winning either.
Debbie is fab too. Prob Gemma would be the only one I wouldn't really like to see win.

But you see, I don't see her as capable and confident. She's definitely capable, yet pretends to be shocked at others telling her she's capable. If she was capable and confident (which she no doubt is) then she would accept the compliments with a confidence rather than pretending to not expect them.

I don't think skin colour has anything to do with it.

    That was great from Gemma

Gemma and Aljaz . Wanted to love it but didn't really

Dramatic from Debbie but technically weak.
