I don't go to the doctor often.
I had been attending a GP in Drogheda but I want to change.
It's nothing major, but I would like a different GP, but it's very difficult to find ones that will take on new patients.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Southside would be great.

We even tried outside the town Dunleer/Termonfeckin/Tullyallen. It's ridiculous. I've heard there's one opening in Aston Village. Might be of help

There is a new practise opening in Aston Village in the near future. Excellent female G.P taking on new patients :D
Will let you know when i see it open.

Went to Niamh O'Carroll in fair gate and she was excellent.

    I didn't rate Dr. Kieran.

Niamh is now gone with no indication of when she will be back. (If anyone knows where she has gone to practice I'd appreciate it)

So I went to her replacement Dr. Ciara and found her okay but went to do a Wellman's test and she "doesn't do them", it will have to be one of the other GPs.

On the look out for a good gp myself now.

There is a new one on the Dublin road, in the old Flo gas building but they arent taking any new patients either.

I switched GP about 6 months ago to Tullyallen. Could be worth a shot again?

Think they are only taking people from the area

That's not the case, they are taking on patients from all surrounding areas. Thats what their website says www.astonmedical.ie
