Applying for Gardai and Penalty Points

Hi Guys, So last year I got penalty points for speeding and I am just wondering if I apply for Gardai, will I get rejected due to this? Many thanks in advance

No you should be ok. They are usually looking for more serious offences, or a history of repeat offences.
