A good game will be good forever. When something has aged then all it means is that the flaws it has become more apparent and less forgivable for instance technical issues at the time if it was pushing technical boundaries. Ocarina is an amazing game but it's built on an engine that is ready to collapse on itself with the slightest breeze.

In FUTURE If you want it gone then just repost the last list posted with the addition of CTR killed and your reason.

I'm killing Mario 64 because as good as it was I was a massive fan of the original Mario Brothers games on the SNES and NES the side scrolling platforms were just so good for me as much as I played it the 3D just never did it for me it , It's the same reason I'd have buried Spyro if someone else didn't' get there before me

Somewhere along the lines Gran Turismo 2 got left out so I put it back in.

And then promptly crossed it off.

Gran Turismo 2 = Pok?mon + Cars - fun

Can't think of a more boring racer to play, I'd much rather something more arcade like.

Also I have a grudge as it was the only game my brother would play so when he played it I couldn't play the playstation. Also he broke my controller firing it off the ground after messing up one of the trials where you had to take a ridiculous American muscle car around a bend in Laguna Seca. After 2 weeks trying it he made the corner and passed the line, 0.12 seconds over the time limit.

I was going to kill Doom because its not actually as good as everyone made out back in the day. Its just an upgraded Castle Wolfenstein, sure the new Doom is 100 times better than it. Can't even look up or down ffs

BUT

But...Look at Goldeneye hidden way there in the middle of a bunch of dead bodies playing dead so nobody will kill it. But its gotta die. The console community creamed their pants when this was released, considered it to be one of the best FPS games ever made. Gimmie a break. Like Halo its just too little to late. While Goldeneye was being heralded by the console angels the rest of us where playing real first class shooters on PC like Quake, Quake 2 and Doom. Yeah even Doom...

EDIT by the way, looking at what is left the clear winner now is Sys Shock 2. If it doesn't win I've lost all faith in this forum.

WTF !!! Shocking. I didn't 'rely' on either. Completely horrible execution of a great game ......shocking.

If I had implemented the "1 save" rule, I'd have used my SAVE just now to save MGS.

Instead, I'm gonna kill.....SYSTEM SHOCK 2. Because I didn't have a PC capable of running such games at that time which annoyed me , and I have never gotten into it since (waiting for the remaster or whatever it is of SS1 to finish).:)
Also, the revenge kill kind of pushed me in that direction :P

I'm going for Age of Empires 2. I played it a few years after it came out, loved it for a week, then played Shogun Total War, which crapped all over it.

Going back to population caps after having large scale battles just felt like a huge step backwards.

**Sidenote**
The game itself seems to have worked well and had many different participants. I guess we all have a general idea of how it works. There is the possible 'SAVE' rule for next time which can be used ONCE only by each participant (to save you must have already have voted on something) .
I guess we'll see if it's implemented in the next game or not.

There are plenty of options for the next game, for whoever wants to compile a list or genre or start a new thread .
Games of 00's, Nintendo games, Megadrive Games, 2d games, FPS etc etc
