Mens Standard Sandals

    Hi,

    Weird question coming up in regard to sizing. :)

    In regard to this type of mens sandal:

    When one buys a pair of normal shoes, the kinda norm to indicate its the right size is for you to be able to fit your thumb in between your big toe and the top of the shoe..........Does the same reasoning apply when buying the above type sandal? (or because its a sandal and your toes are not confined, you don't need this much extra room)

    I'd say you'd still wan't a little bit of room for error to avoid stubbing the big toe / toe nail.
