Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Which three to start...

    Holding - Yoshida - Mawson - Cahill

Betrand is a doubt so not including him

Mawson. I think West Brom will score.

Will be in Thurles today to see Tipp beat Cork, so will try my best to wait for Match of the Day tonight. Can't see myself holding off though :pac:

I was travelling home from holidays and flying the year City beat QPR in injury time, so turned off all media and watched it on match of the day, as a United fan it was all going so well....
My sky has scrambled and i am very tempted to do the whole MOTD thing again or just go to the pub at 3pm

I know it's not FPL related, but this is incredible.

    Big Willy

    Alonso Mustafi Bavies

    Alexis Alli Lallana Zaha

    Sturridge (c) Jesus Diegoooooooo

    Starting on a -4.

This is my 3rd season following the FSA forum. In my first season, I had a great year and remember Zarqoun quite well that year. Last year I didn't do as well and didn't follow forum as much but seen his post earlier in season that things weren't all well. Shocked and saddened to hear of the news. You just know posters in here are genuine and good folk. Rest in Peace Zarquon

Is there any more likelihood than normal of early team news today?

If I knew Costa was starting I'd probably captain him.

Same for me regarding Hazard after I read

Huge differentials too going by FFS captain poll!

    Heaton

    Davies Yoshida Alonso

    Sanchez Alli King Zaha

    Costa Kane (TC) Jesus

Missed the deadline for TC last week so using this week. Missed transfers twice during the season due to very busy RL.

The passing of zarquon puts the trivial stuff in perspective. A really good guy.

The sense of community and charity here prior to and since his departure is great to see. I'm proud to be a very small part of Boards FSA.

Well done guys and good luck to all.

    RIP zarquon.

Doubt I'll get much chance to post this afternoon or get to see any of the football, so good luck to everyone on here today

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,672 ✭✭✭ElTel

    Cech
    Alonso Bavies Matip
    Hazard Sane Pedro Tadic
    Aguero (c) Kane (vc) Jesus

    Valdez Carroll Cedric Randall

Blind to Matip was the FT.

    Best of luck to all.

Zarquon R.I.P or perhaps, given his handle, enjoy your exploration/hitchhiking around the cosmos.

    Nice captain.

Hope he makes up for the poor DGW score.

In mchale park now for the mayo match
    Coverage is patchy
    No transfers made
    Not sure on team
    Not sure on captain

What could possibly go wrong :D

I'm currently just inside the 90,000 mark and it looks like this will end up being my worst season by some distance since 2010/11 apart from the anomaly that was 2013/14 where I had a triple figure score (ranks of circa 12,000, 23,000 (x2), 6,000).

Is there anything in particular you put it down to? I can't really find a reason for my poor season. I've spent as much time at the game as I usually did, posted here regularly for half a season before taking a break from the site (but I did keep reading), have been on FF Scout. I just never really got going for some reason.

With me it's been time. I spent most of the last 18 months doing a 2 hour commute (each way) as opposed to a ten minute drive before that.

Trying to fit FF in with two kids and other things was a stretch. It's hard to find even the time to watch footie!

I'm down to commuting only two days to work now (3 days from home) so will have more time on my hands.

That I'm even inside the top 35k is good. I missed some deadlines this year for transfers and even captain changes!

Who the hell has he got. Gap well within reach for you then.

The gap was over 100pts a few gameweeks ago, I think everyone in our league just presumed he had it won, and I'd say he did too as he mightn't have put as much thought into the double gameweek as the rest behind. I see he has made only one transfer this gameweek, so I expect his differentials on me will be Coutinho, Costa, Lukaku, Hazard, Son, Vertonghen, Darmian and Foster.

Anyway, I'm happy enough with my transfer and captaincy choice this week, as you say the gap is within reach, particularly if Kane and Sanchez deliver as they've done recently...

    Caballero
    Alonso, Monreal, Stephens
    Coutinho, Pedro, Sanchez, King
    Aguero (c), Kane, Jesus

    Jakupovic, Albrighton, Holgate, Ake

No hits. Coutinho in for Alli was the FT.

Captain fail with Aguero last week, so naturally, he gets the armband again.

    RIP Zarquon.

    King Pva and siggy

They will determine whether I can claw back 20 pt gap or not

Now I've an even tougher decision to make
Play zaha vert (all 5 defenders start then ) or gabbi
    Or
    Hit for Pedro

Down at transfers and finance it's says how many transfers made

Just wondering - how can you tell this before the 2pm deadline?

If you click on their team name in the league table, you'll be brought to their previous week's points page, and if you scroll down you'll see their transfers and finance section on the right showing the amount of gameweek transfers they've made this week.

    Cabellero
    Alonso Monreal Kompany
    Sanchez Hazard Alli Siggy Zaha

No Liverpool coverage is worrying but hopefully I'll get away with it.
