Hiking trails/remote area suggestions

I'm hoping to finally head up to Donegal next month and I want to go hiking/camping for 2 or 3 days in a beautiful area where I'm unlikely to encounter too many other people. I was initially hoping to spend 2 or 3 days in Glenveagh National Park but seemingly camping isn't allowed there, even when the leave no trace policy is followed.

Can any of you kind souls suggest some potential routes I could look into for a 2-3 day trip, offroad but ideally (but not necessarily) on some sort of a trail? I realise Ireland isn't the best for open wilderness but I'm hoping Donegal is my best chance!

i am looking for an easy hiking trail near donegal town.....2/3/4 hours walk.... any ideas?

how long would the walk from Donegal to Ardara take, any good accommodation along the route?

i've camped in the hills in glenveagh lots of times , never been a issue, id imagine they would have issue if you were close to the castle part but apart from that cant see why they would have issue
