Modems going dead losing dsl ?

I've had 2 modems in the last week stop working . Same thing both times , my devices disconnect and when I try to reconnect it says incorrect password ? The the password was right? I turn it off and on again dsl light won't come on and then it looses power and is completely dead ? I mean i can't get a new router every week…
