Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moreno is dirt in fairness .Can't believe anyone standing up for him he shouldn't be anywhere near a team of Liverpool's calibre.

According to Bayern Insiders the Renato Sanches deal is a 1 year Loan deal with No option to buy... fee of around 8.5 mil. for the year.

A good deal for Bayern if that is the case.He should get regular football at Swansea and then they can decide to bring him back or sell him to EPL team if he proves himself this season.

Mad to think United were in for him a couple of seasons ago and were pretty disappointed when he picked Munich over us.

I still cant remember Moreno playing Left Wing at any point. I think that'd suit him far more. Like how David Luiz was moved to midfield untill he learned more about defending. Moreno can't defend a damn but he provides an offensive threat. Always kinda confused me he was never moved forward.

    The 8.5 includes his wages.

Of course there wasn't going to be a buy option, would have made zero sense, was lolling at the poster who suggested that earlier.

    The 8.5 includes his wages.

So if we tell ourselves the 8.5 is his wages and it's a free loan otherwise, that would work out to €165k/wk (£GBP is only €1.07 and dropping so doesn't really matter what currency).

High, high wages for a team like that but all things considered and how much they needed someone to fill Sygi's gap (eewwwwwww...) it's pretty good business. So long as he does the business for them, of course.

I think it's a good deal for them too, especially if they paid it in one installment, and if he does well and they stay up it will definitely have been a good move for them. They needed someone badly, the window is closing, so it was either him or over pay for an average player.

This is just mad, Arsenal are sat on about 200m of cash in the bank, okay it's the EL for at least a year but surely the club are not working on the assumption that they will be out of that competition (the CL) for more than one year.

£40m for Oxlade-Chamberlain, wow. Wenger pulling the pants down there bigtime!

Gibbs for £7m is a snip in comparison.

Andre Mariner would probably value them both the same, can't remember him seeing much difference between them.

Sanches is a smashing prospect- an all action type midfielder. But Still very raw and sometimes doesn't pick the right pass & I think he might only have a handful of senior goals.

The Algerian National Team have confirmed Mahrez has left to secure a deal on deadline day today. Most sources saying he's off to Barca, likely cause the Coutinho deal is dead. Spurs, Chelsea and United all linked as well in the last 48 hours.

He was linked to Arsenal too with Sanchez moving.. but that won't happen now supposedly

Also the Spanish window doesn't close till tomorrow so it won't be as rushed thru as it would be for an English Club

Checked into a London hotel according to sky so Spurs or Chelsea. Chelsea seems most likely after the Chamberlain deal fell through.

Harry Redknapp interviewed on SSN saying he's had great support and they've built a team the people of Bournemouth would be delighted with...

...then cops himself on and says 'sorry, the people of Birmingham would be delighted' :D

It'd be nice if a national team said "No, you've had months to arrange this. You can f***ing well stay and train with everybody else."

Why? It's arbitrary deadline set by the individual FA's.

Chelsea really are leaving it late gathering players in and its costing them. Missing out on targets left and right all summer.

Llorente to spurs is interesting, thats a solid signing.

Looks like they will get Aurier too, i guess all that talk of Trippier been better than Walker was nonsense as expected.

Trips is currently playing still playing with an injury. No hard to get back up/competition for him.

Spurs might suit Llorente better too, Jansen may now be on the move if the deal goes through

Why would Swansea accept such a low offer for Llorente?

Jansen is set to join Palace for about a week now. They wanted to add competition for Benteke with Wickham crocked.

Appartently they are getting Bony in as a replacement. He looks lost since leaving them.

Still not great business. I feel 15 goals a season is worth a lot more to Swansea than £15 million.

Ah yes because a players ability should be judged solely on his clubs transfers.

Bony might have to work to get ahead of Abraham who I thinks been a big suprise.

WBA have bid £23 million for Jaansen from Spurs.
They also had bid for Chambers rejected by Arsenal.

Arsenal holding firm on Cash + Player for Sanchez to leave. If they do stick to that line he could well remain an Arsenal player tomorow.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear that Coutinho joins Barca for £130m coinciding with the announcement that Mahrez signs for Liverpool. They may sign Van Dijk as well. Is it not strange that Mahrez wants out but nobody knows where he's going? I think it's because it depends on Coutinho. Mahrez is going somewhere because he left the Algeria squad to "formalise" his move.
