Selecting a company for a PRB

So I've chosen to set up a PRB for a pension I have with a former employer. I know I'll have a choice of funds with whichever company I set up a prb with but, just wondering how to assess which company to go with? Just hit up a big name and chill? Any advice?

Checking if its not better/ more cost effective to keep the occupational pension?
