    Birthday present for missus Stan - looking for something with decent quality sound but not outrageous on price ...a JohnMc open box special would be ideal! :)
    What options would you guys have?

    Do you require speakers or do you have your own?
    As there are many many options would you have a rough budget in mind?

    You could go for something like the Marantz PM6006 priced at £279.00

    This would sound great depending on which speakers you have.

    Got a mail today from RS about a Marantz turntable on offer - is there a package you could do around that?

    Hi Stantheman8.

    At the minute there is a VIP deal on the TT5005 priced at just £99.00. This turntable could able added to any system with no issue at all and would run along with any listed above.

    Let me know what you think once you have had a check over the items mentioned.
